Who Is the Andrew Morris Band?
The Andrew Morris Band (AMB) has converted many music lovers to the country music genre more
than anyones else in the industry. That most likely can be attributed to the man himself, Andrew
Morris. Growing up in Jacksonville, FL, Andrew was introduced to the iconic twang of country music
through the influence of his grandpa. “I was greatly influenced by my grandad’s love for country
music and what it sounded like. The more I listened to it, the more I found myself becoming curious
about the box of classic country LP’s Granddad had in the garage.”, according to Andrew. As one
would assume, the musical treasure trove provided a harty foundation for the sound and music that
has become The Andrew Morris Band.
AMB is a seminal country music act within South Florida, garnering several long standing residencies
at various establishments throughout the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens area. Along with
maintaining various venue residencies, AMB has also performed at SunFest (one of South Florida’s
premier music festivals). The band is also sought after to performer for the New Country 103.1 FM
Rib Round Up in 2023 and several years before. AMB is comprised of members, Andrew Morris (lead
vocals and acoustic guitar), Steve Siciliano (lead electric guitar and backing vocals), Michael R.
Cheney (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Rene Rivera (drums and percussion).
As they continue gigging, the boys are working on writing and recording new tunes as a follow up to
“A Long Time Comin’ ” available on all streaming platforms.
